School districts across the country are forbidding students from passing out personal Christmas cards. In Minnesota, two middle school students were disciplined for wearing red and green scarves. In Massachusetts, ninth grade students were warned to refrain from wishing friends "Merry Christmas." In Illinois, a teacher was instructed by her principal to not read a story about Christmas to her second graders. In Georgia, a school removed the word "Christmas" from its calender after threats from the A.C.L.U.
Throughout the United States, nativity scenes and Christmas trees have been removed. In one South Florida veterans hospital, even a Christmas angel was taken down. In most public places today, all references to Christmas have been obliterated. In Seattle a local government official instructed employees that they were forbidden to wish any co-worker "Merry Christmas". Taking its place is the politically correct,"non-offensive," multicultural, full-of-diversity greeting, "Happy Holidays."
I guess I live in a more sane area. My husband is a Letter Carrier for the U.S. Postal Service and all December he wears a red Santa hat trimmed in fluffy white fur. No complaints so far. Just smiles. I think some parts in this country are just a tad bit more tolerant than others. [/b] [/color]

After reading the article "The Abolition of Christmas", it's so sad to realize that Christians are supposed to be "sensitized" to everybody else's complaints.
Those who have come from other countries, and don't accept what we stand for, and our preferences of lifestyle and spiritual convictions, should not have moved here.
We're here on this side of the world, because we don't want the primitive system of values and religious oppression they prefer where they came from.
It is not too late to reverse the kind of repression we've fallen prey to. We need to stop these intolerant forces. Either they allow us to live and believe how we want to, or send them back where they came from.
To Hell with their immigration status, their rights and everything else, if they expect to continue to strip us of everything which made us great, and the envy of the world.
It was our love for Jesus, our Christian love for others, and our burden to help lift others out of their unfortunate conditions, which helped them have the freedom and rights they have, which they didn't have where they came from.

I love this comment. Just thought I would mention that : )

I agree with the substance and tone of your post. However in reading the above, I am left with the question of "how". Do you have nay specific actions in mind?
This is one thing that I have consistently noticed about this board, is collectively we all "female dog and moan" but "we" as a group seem very disorganized as measured by a collective resolve to work on an established list of issues.
Any thoughts or activities that "we" can organize and actively pursue?
Wishing you all the best, and I totally agree with your expressed sentiments,
I remain,
Patriotman

Yo, Patriotman.
Let us hear what PJB and Bay have to say about any group initiatives for us to promote the immigration moratorium bill in the House Immigration Committee. A great place to start for we have to start some place. No mo' three-and-out! No more prevent-defenses.
